The keepsake-grade Chronicle

Heirloom£299

Two thread-sewn copies. Custom designed. Built to last a century.

Heirloom is the tier for families who understand that the difference between an adhesive binding and a Smyth Sewn binding is not a marketing distinction. It is the difference between a book that lasts thirty years and a book that lasts generations.

Two copies, because the book can exist in two places at once – one on the shelf, one being read. A custom-designed cover and interior, made for this story, not from a template. 150gsm paper. Forest-green hardback with foil-stamping included on the cover.

A forest-green Heirloom hardback memoir titled "My Life Chronicle" foil-stamped on the cover and spine, photographed in three-quarter view on warm linen with a cup of tea, reading glasses and a small family photograph nearby

Questions on Heirloom.

What does Smyth Sewn binding actually mean?

Pages are sewn together with linen thread in folded groups called signatures, then bound to a hard cover. The result lies flat when open, opens cleanly without cracking the spine, and survives being handed down through generations. It is how fine-art editions and family Bibles are made.

Why two copies?

A book that exists once gets lost in a house move, in a flood, in a clear-out. Two copies mean one can live in one home and one in another – without making anyone feel they are giving up the original.

What does the custom design include?

Cover artwork curated for this story. A custom title page. Chapter openings styled around the storyteller's themes. Photo layouts designed around the photos you upload, not stamped from a template. Our designer works with you before printing.

How long does Heirloom take to ship after the chapters are done?

Around four weeks from the moment all thirteen chapters are approved. The book is printed and Smyth Sewn in the UK, then posted to the addresses you nominate.
