Why is the interior black and white?
The black-and-white interior is the classic memoir aesthetic – the same look as the bookshop memoirs you have read. It is also lighter, easier to hold, and cheaper to make. A colour interior is available as a £15 upgrade at the order stage if you want photos in colour.

Life Story is a perfect bound softcover with a B&W interior. Memoir is a casebound hardback with a full-colour interior, plus voice-recorded sessions. The story-shaping is the same; the book is lighter and the photographs are different.
